A household survey has been developed from ideas that some parishioners had discussed around a local response to climate change.  The purpose of the survey is to encourage residents to get involved in community actions to reduce their carbon footprint, improve the natural environment and, in the process, make Langford Budville parish a better place to live.  Great ideas need people to make them happen!

The survey is for all residents and paper versions were distributed in April 2021 to create a snapshot of opinions, ideas and action opportunities.  The survey is divided into five main sections:

Ideas to help nature
Ideas to improve communication
Ideas to reduce fossil fuel use
Ideas to reduce food miles
Exploring the idea of a community shop

• This is a community project, administrated by Langford Budville Parish Council and its finances are publicly available

• The aims are three-fold:

– To encourage Langford Budville to become a more sustainable, connected and lower carbon community

– To share the wealth of talent, experience and enthusiasm across the parish

– To inspire each other

• A Greener Langford Budville is community driven - the drivers will change - the journey will continue

• Everyone is welcome
